Uploading

We're at the final step! Uploading your app is where all the real fun starts, because now you get to see if it's all working.

Uploading your .zip

Next, you'll need to log in to your Zendesk account (you will need a Zendesk account in order to upload any apps, sign up here).

  1. Click on the "Cog" icon in the bottom left of your screen
  2. Click the "Create" menu item, under the heading "Apps"
  3. This is where you'll manage all the apps you've created
  4. Click "Create a new App"
  5. Give your app a Name, and click on "Choose File" and locate the .zip of your app
  6. If the upload was successful, you'll be taken back to "Create" and be able to install the app on your account
  7. Once installed, return to a ticket and click "Refresh Apps" to load the new app.

If you run into any problems, be sure your .zip does not have any odd files or directories - which includes anything that might be hidden. If problems still persist, we're happy to help on the Apps Forums.
